It’s like having multiple company’s under one roof!

• JD Kitchens Baths & More started as a construction & remodeling company in 1991, building additions, basements, porches & more, expanding into kitchens in 1994.
• JD Kitchens Baths & More opened our first Kitchen & Bath showroom back in 1995 in Woodstock, GA and continued to grow over many years, We have served in the greater Atlanta and surrounding areas, and have had extended projects as far south as Florida.
• JD Kitchens Baths & More has won Contractor of the year for multiple projects, voted by NARI . (National Association of Remodeling Industry)
• JD Kitchens Baths & More has had many news & magazine articles written about us. We opened six different showroom locations as well.
• 2023 JD Kitchens Sold to a new group. Due to unforeseen circumstances the new owners were un-successful at maintaining JD Kitchens and closed the showroom.
• 2024 Original owners decide to do it again and come out of retirement to open a new JD Kitchen’s Design build Group, Inc. Store, Same owners with over 34 years of experience. New partners, new designs and new products. New Showroom. We felt JD Kitchens needed a new look and why not begin in the place that we had been for years and when the building became available again we jumped on the opportunity. We felt our expertise set’s us apart in the industry. Our new partnership allows us to be more competitive then before. We choose specific product lines to meet homeowners new and ever changing budgets. We are cutting edge and we try and stay up with the most current innovations and emerging trends. We know what it takes to be in this business, all the ups and downs. After all, we did it for 34 years. After 10 months out of the business we realized no one did remodeling the way we did. Time away made us realize how much we missed it and how good at it we were. Most people wait there entire life to be able to sell a business and retire. I honestly can say I did not think an opportunity like this would ever happen. I must admit on our final day at JD Kitchens, I cried. I had hoped we had made the right decision and the next day was the first day of our new retired life. Then one day in April 2024, the landlord reached out to us and informed us that JD had closed. The most funniest part was when he asked did I want my sign. My response was yes. Yet I was unclear as to why I answered the question the way I did after all we were retired. We jumped in the truck and headed to the old building. Everything was gone. We were saddened to see our showroom gone and at the same time we both saw a blank slate of endless possibilities and I could see when I looked at John the wheels were turning. Then the land lord asked why don’t you just come back. We thought about it and decided we are just crazy enough to do this. We decided to reach out to a friend of our who we had worked with for over 25 years and decided we would all work together. And thus the new JD Kitchens Design Build Group was born. We began to reassemble the showroom, this has been a great challenge. Finally the cabinets are beginning to arrive and now the fun is starting. With the new selections of products and different things. Different colors. The showroom is beginning to feel like that old tennis shoe with new laces. We were proud of what we created over the course of our life time. We are humbled by all the customers who loved what we did for them through the years. We are thankful for all the accolades along the way. We are the same two owners with a second chance to begin again at something we spent our life doing. We will constantly be innovating and delighting our customers with new products and services. We have always put the customer first above any other priority. No different then before.
